Ah, making it like grandma used to brings back such memories!! Use store-bought puff pastry, layered rice, boiled eggs, and canned salmon. Bake until golden brown!

Solving this helps save time on busy weeknights while keeping traditional flavors. To make a quick kulebyaka using supermarket ingredients, buy ready-made puff pastry sheets. Lay down the first sheet on a baking tray. Add a base layer of cooked white rice to absorb moisture. Follow this with a layer of sautéed mushrooms, chopped hard-boiled eggs, and flaked canned salmon or cooked chicken. Place the second puff pastry sheet on top, crimp the edges firmly to seal, and bake at 200°C for 25 minutes until golden brown.

It reminds me of cozy family evenings. For a quick weeknight version, layer store puff pastry with cooked rice, sliced mushrooms, and canned fish. It saves so much time!

Hello Claire. To make a quick weeknight kulebyaka using supermarket ingredients, you can use store-bought puff pastry. Assembly layers: 1. Roll out the first sheet of pastry. 2. Add a layer of cooked rice. 3. Add sautéed mushrooms and chopped boiled eggs. 4. Top with canned salmon or flaked cooked chicken. 5. Cover with the second pastry sheet, seal edges, and bake.

Use store puff pastry for your quick dinner. Layer rice then canned salmon and mushrooms inside. Seal its edges tight and bake until brown. It's easy enough.

Solving this is important since I am always busy. Just buy puff pastry, put canned tuna and mushrooms inside, fold it over and bake it at 400 degrees. It turned out fine for me.
