Hello BatchCooker35! When dealing with large batches of garden soup, the stovetop is definitely superior to the microwave. It allows for even heat distribution and prevents the vegetables from becoming mushy in some spots while remaining cold in others. To preserve the flavor and texture, follow these steps:
  • Pour the soup into a heavy-bottomed pot.
  • Heat over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Avoid a rolling boil, as this can break down delicate garden herbs and vegetables.
I hope this helps you enjoy your meal prep!

The stove is definitely better than the microwave when you are reheating a large batch of garden soup. It heats everything evenly and keeps the textures of your vegetables from getting mushy. Just put the soup in a pot over medium heat and stir it gently until it is warmed all the way through.

The stove is definitely better for large batches of soup?! It heats everything much more evenly than a microwave ever could... Just warm it on medium until hot!

For large batches of garden soup, using a microwave in heavy-duty portions is actually much faster than dragging out a pot for the stove. Just zap it on high for ten minutes, stirring halfway through to distribute the heat. This method saves time on busy weeknights when you just want a quick chop.

When your reheating large batches of garden soup the stove is usually better. Microwaves can make vegetables soggy and unevenly heated. Put your soup in a large pot and bring it to a rapid rolling boil on high heat so its ready quick. Stir occasionally so it doesn't burn.
