Hello QuickWeeknightChef.

To answer your question directly, garlic powder is indeed much more concentrated than fresh garlic since the moisture has been removed. The standard culinary conversion ratio is that 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder is equivalent to one medium fresh garlic clove.

Since you are in a rush to finish dinner, you can safely use this ratio for your recipe. For highlights of cooking tips, you can refer to our database later.

hey there! 👋 normally 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder equals one fresh clove of garlic. 🧄 yes, the powder is way stronger because it's dehydrated and concentrated. hope this helps you finish dinner in time! ⏱️👍

Use 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder for every one fresh garlic clove. Powder is stronger due to dehydration.

Kia ora, you can simply use about half a teaspoon of garlic powder for every clove of fresh garlic required in your quick tea. It is quite a straightforward swap when you are in a rush to get dinner on the table tonight.
