I need the exact step-by-step method to cook scrambled eggs properly... Every time I try its either too rubbery or completely stuck to the pan! I am trying to keep breakfast lighter and balanced so I do not want to drown the eggs in half a stick of butter. What is the correct heat level and pan type to use?? Should milk or water be added before whisking them or does that ruin there texture... I need to know the exact cooking time in minutes and when to take them off the heat so they keep it's moisture! Give me only the direct steps from start to finish with temperature settings and timing details for a proper light scramble! Do you stir constantly or let it sit first???

Cooking light, tender scrambled eggs with minimal butter is completely achievable with the right technique, pan, and heat control. Here is a clear, thorough guide to help you get consistent results without rubbery textures or sticking.

First, the equipment is crucial when using minimal fat. Use a good-quality 8-inch non-stick skillet or ceramic pan, along with a flexible silicone spatula. A non-stick surface allows you to use just one teaspoon of butter or a light mist of olive oil spray instead of heavy amounts.

Regarding liquids, it is best to skip both milk and water entirely. Adding milk dilutes the egg flavor and often causes the curds to separate and weep watery liquid, while water can make the texture inconsistent. Whisking whole eggs alone with a small pinch of salt yields the silkiest and richest texture naturally.

Here are the step-by-step instructions from start to finish:

Step 1: Whisk 2 or 3 large eggs in a small bowl with a pinch of salt vigorously for about 30 to 45 seconds until the whites and yolks are fully combined and slightly frothy.

Step 2: Place your non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Add 1 teaspoon of butter and let it melt slowly so it coats the base of the pan evenly without sizzling or browning.

Step 3: Pour the whisked eggs into the center of the pan. Let the eggs sit completely undisturbed for about 10 to 15 seconds so a delicate base layer begins to set.

Step 4: Using your silicone spatula, slowly push the cooked outer edges toward the center in broad, gentle sweeping motions. Tilt the pan slightly so the raw liquid egg flows into the newly exposed warm surface.

Step 5: Continue slowly folding and moving the curds every few seconds rather than stirring aggressively. This process takes approximately 90 seconds to 2 minutes in total on medium-low heat.

Step 6: Pull the pan off the heat when the eggs look soft, glossy, and still slightly wet. Eggs hold residual heat and will continue cooking for another 30 seconds after leaving the pan. Transfer them to a warm plate immediately so they stay moist and delicate.

Following these exact steps will keep your breakfast light, balanced, and perfectly tender every single time.

Use only a good non-stick ceramic skillet on low heat! Do not add any milk or water, just whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt... Melt half teaspoon of butter or light oil spray evenly! Pour eggs and let sit 15 seconds, then slowly push the edges toward the center with spatula! It takes only 2 minutes total... Remove from stove while it still looks slightly glossy and wet! The residual heat finishes the cook on the plate!

Whisk the eggs with a dash of cold water, then pour into a non-stick frypan on medium heat. Stir constantly until completely firm, about four minutes. Turned out fine and sorted.

1. Whisk 2 eggs properly in a bowl with salt only, do not add milk because there texture gets ruined imo.

2. Keep non stick fry pan on full high flame with just half spoon oil to save time.

3. Pour eggs and stir continuously for about 2 minutes so it cooks quickly and fully dries out without moisture.

4. Take off the gas right away. This way its very simple and handy for breakfast prep :)

Use a non-stick pan on very low heat with just a small drop of butter! But do you add mineral water before whisking??? I am never sure about the stirring or time... it always sticks for me!
