Coffee has 95mg, black tea 50mg, and energy drinks up to 160mg. The safe daily limit for healthy adults is 400mg, but avoid it before evening workouts.

Hello. When looking at caffeinated beverages for fitness training, especially later in the day, it is important to consider both the source and the dosage.

Standard brewed coffee contains about 95 mg of caffeine per 8 ounces, espresso has around 63 mg per shot, black tea has about 50 mg, and energy drinks range from 80 to 160 mg. For safe physical training, health guidelines generally recommend a maximum of 3.0 to 6.0 milligrams of caffeine per kilogram of body weight, usually capped at 400 mg per day for healthy adults. Because you mentioned your evening schedule, I strongly advise keeping your intake lower or avoiding caffeine entirely within six hours of bedtime to protect your sleep quality and recovery.

For your evening fitness routine you need to know caffeine amounts. Brewed coffee has 95mg per cup espresso has about 63mg energy drinks have up to 160mg and green tea has roughly 30mg. Safe dosage for training is usually up to 400mg daily or around 3mg per kg of body weight.

Since its for the evening you should be careful because too much caffeine ruins your sleep schedule and recovery process. Make sure your timing is right so it does not affect your rest.

I usually drink a cup of black coffee or sometimes green tea before my evening workouts, but I am not entirely sure about the exact safe milligrams for everyone. From what I recall, coffee has around 95 mg and tea has much less, but I always mix it up and hope it works out fine without ruining my sleep.

I cannot give you a complete list of all beverages or exact dosages because I only know these two, but hopefully this helps a little bit.

I haven't the foggiest what all this fuss about pre-workout drinks and milligrams is nowadays. Back in my day, a proper cup of builder's tea was enough for a bit of exercise without needing a chemistry degree. I am just following this thread to see what the world is coming to.

For evening fitness, a cup of tea or instant coffee should be fine. Just watch out you dont overdo it before bed, or you'll be tossing and turning all night long.
