Cooking chestnuts is not difficult if you follow a few basic steps. You just need to wash them, make a small cut on the shell so they do not explode in the oven, and roast them until tender. They are completely natural and do not require any chemicals to prepare safely at home. Once they are done baking, just peel them while they are still warm for the best results and enjoy your meal.

Hello! I completely understand your frustration, cooking new ingredients can be tricky at first, but chestnuts are actually quite simple once you know the trick. Here are the steps to prepare them safely:
  • First, wash them thoroughly and dry them.
  • Take a sharp knife and cut a clear X shape on the flat side of each chestnut. This is crucial so they do not burst from the steam buildup.
  • Bake them in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 20 to 25 minutes until the shells peel back.
No chemicals are needed at all, just heat and a simple score mark! Let me know if you need any more help.

Just pop the chestnuts straight into a hot oven or pan and roast them for twenty minutes until done. They are all natural and safe.
