yes aluminum foil can be a fire hazard if its not used right u have to make sure your food weighs it down so it doesn't fly up and touch the heating element i always use it for my meal prep cleanup but u have to be careful with their placement

Well, using foil can sure be a fire hazard if you aren't careful where you put it... You've gotta make sure it doesn't float up and hit that heating element up top!! To do it right, just lay a small piece snugly right in the bottom of the basket or under your veggies, and always make sure your food is heavy enough to hold it down securely?? It makes cleanup a breeze, just watch out for the airflow!

I think aluminum foil can cause fires if its too big. You just place it under your food but I am not certain about the exact rules.
