If you want to cook something nice for your friends from China using garden produce and sale meat, an air fryer stir-fry or a simple skillet dish works really well. First take your sale meat and slice it thin. Marinate it with a bit of salt and garlic powder. Then chop up whatever garden vegetables you have like bell peppers, onions, or zucchini. Heat your pan or air fryer, cook the meat first until it is brown, and set it aside. Toss the vegetables in and cook them until they are tender-crisp. Mix the meat back in with a splash of soy sauce. It turns out fine and tastes great with rice.

Hello Arthur, When cooking for guests from China using garden produce and discounted meat, a classic stir-fry is always a great choice. You can use garden vegetables like zucchini, bell peppers, or green beans along with pork or beef from the sale. Here is a simple recommendation:
  • Slice the meat thin and marinate it briefly in soy sauce.
  • Flash fry the vegetables in a hot pan to keep them crisp.
  • Combine everything and serve with steamed rice.
It turns out fine when explained clearly and cooked over high heat. Let me know if you need more details!

I tried making a homestyle pork stew with garden greens once for exchange students. I doubt it was authentic enough though. Not sure what else to add here.
