My fridge currently smells like a science experiment gone wrong because some leftover brisket got lost in the back last week. I'm usually the weekend king of the grill, but my weeknight cooking game has been a bit messy lately and now the whole kitchen is payin for it.

Does anyone have a pro tip to quickly and effectively remove the smell from the refrigerator before my roommates stage an intervention? I need a solution that doesnt involve buying a whole new appliance or scrubbing for three hours.

Throw away the spoiled meat immediately and clean the shelf with warm soapy water. Its important to wipe down the walls where the smell sticks. After that put a small bowl of vinegar or fresh coffee grounds inside the fridge to absorb the bad odor. Your roommate will not notice anything if you leave it there overnight.

Clear out the rotting brisket fast before my flatmates mutiny over ruined weekend vibes! Just wipe the shelf with vinegar and drop in some baking soda. Sorted in ten minutes.

Hello there. I completely understand how a forgotten piece of meat can create a potent odor in a confined space like a refrigerator. To resolve this quickly without harsh chemicals, you can use a few household staples.

First, remove the source and wipe down all interior surfaces with a solution of equal parts warm water and white vinegar. Vinegar is excellent at neutralizing organic odors rather than just masking them.

Next, place an open box of baking soda or a bowl of activated charcoal on a shelf to absorb any lingering smells. This method is safe, efficient, and will have your fridge smelling fresh in no time.

Well, nothing quite says home sweet home like the rich aroma of decomposing brisket greeting you every time you open the door for a midnight snack. First things first, throw that science experiment straight into the outdoor bin. Since you are trying to avoid scrubbing for three hours, just grab some heavily scented aerosol room freshener and give the inside a quick spray, then wipe down the top shelf with a dry paper towel. That should cover up the worst of it before your roommates stage their protest. You might miss the hidden juices dripping on the bottom panel, but hey, out of sight out of mind right?
